Who We Are

Asured Securities Limited ("we", "us", "our") provides security services across the United Kingdom from our head office at Aura Business, 412 Stretford Road, Manchester M15 4AE. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data when you use this website, request a quote, apply for a role, or engage us for services.

Information We Collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount collected automatically:

• Enquiry and quote data: name, company, email, phone number, site location, service required and any details you add about your requirement.
• Recruitment data: name, contact details, role of interest, experience, availability and any CV or supporting document you upload.
• Account data: if you create an account, your name, email address and a password. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody at Asured Securities Limited can read them.
• Technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) generated automatically when you browse the site.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal data to:

• Respond to quote requests and provide a proposal for security services.
• Keep a record of each enquiry under a reference, so that you and our team can follow its progress and pick up where the last conversation left off.
• Assess job applications and contact candidates about roles.
• Deliver, administer and invoice for contracted security services.
• Meet our legal, licensing and insurance obligations as a security provider.
• Maintain the security and performance of this website.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use website form data for marketing without your separate consent.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data under UK GDPR on the basis of: your consent when you submit a form; the steps necessary to enter into a contract with you (quote and onboarding); our legitimate interest in running and improving this website and our services; and compliance with legal obligations, including those relating to licensed security provision.

Sharing Your Information

We share personal data only where necessary:

• With staff and subcontracted personnel directly involved in delivering your requested service.
• With our email and form-processing providers, solely to transmit your enquiry to info@assuredsecurities.co.uk.
• With regulators, insurers or law enforcement where we are legally required to.

We do not transfer personal data outside the UK/EEA other than through the standard infrastructure of the service providers above, who are contractually required to protect it.

How Long We Keep Data

Quote enquiries that do not proceed to a contract are retained for up to 24 months. Job applications are retained for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Contract and invoicing records are retained for as long as required by UK tax and company law (currently 6 years). Website accounts are kept until you ask us to close them; an account that is created but never confirmed by email is deleted automatically after 12 months.

Website Accounts

You do not need an account to request a quote or apply for a role. If you choose to create one, we email you a link to confirm the address is yours, and the account stays inactive until you use it. Signing in shows you the enquiries you have sent us, their reference and their current status.

Our staff can add an internal note to an enquiry to coordinate their own work. Those notes are never shown in your account, but they do form part of the personal data we hold about you and are included in any request you make for a copy of it.

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. Signing out ends your session, and resetting your password ends every other session that was open at the time.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Ask us to delete your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies described in our Cookie Policy. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
